I am a biomedicine student who has been chronically ill my whole life. I lost my ability to work or study almost completely four years ago when I got ME/CFS after an infection. After that, I started my own healing journey, got back partly my ability to study- hence the biomedicine student- and now I want to share my own experiences with you. I am not healed yet and not even symptom-free, and I don’t think I will probably ever be. My goal is not to get rid of all my symptoms and live pain-free forever. My goal is to be able to live. To live a life that is not defined by my illnesses and pain. A life that’s worth living and most of the time enjoyable. I want to be able to do the things I love and accomplish my dreams.
